Civil Society meeting in advance of the
Oslo Humanitarian Conference on Nigeria and the Lake Chad Region

There is a serious humanitarian crisis in Nigeria and the Lake Chad region. The international donor conference Oslo Humanitarian Conference on Nigeria and the Lake Chad Region will be held 24 February and brings together civil society, UN, donors and affected countries’ governments to draw attention and increase the support to this region.
You are invited to participate in a preparatory civil society meeting on 23 February, where participants will give their analysis and share knowledge of the context, highlighting challenges and solutions.
There will be panels and discussions on the themes that will be addressed in depth during the donor conference, and the conclusions and recommendations from these sessions will be presented as input at the official event discussions on 24 February.
All participants on the Civil Society Meeting are invited to watch the live streaming of the conference the on 24 February in Scandic Holmenkollen Park, and will have access to break areas and joint lunch with participants.
